Hear Me Now
This 40-60 minute interactive program will provide students with a unique and personal perspective on the impacts of prejudice, racism and stereotyping, as well as silence and apathy in multiple contexts. Through hearing the testimony of a grandchild of a Holocaust survivor, your organization can expect to develop an awareness of the value of tolerance in a pluralistic society — one that extends beyond Judaism and anti-Semitism to include other social groups by challenging bigotry and exclusion in any form.
This program is developed in partnership with 3GNY, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating diverse communities about the perils of intolerance. Through its WEDU ("We Educate") program, 3GNY prepares grandchildren of Holocaust survivors to compellingly tell their family stories to students and community groups.
