HMTC’s museum and programming director, Dr. Thorin Tritter, gave a short talk about an often-used image of Dr. Roland Freisler, the president of the Nazi’s People’s Court, highlighting the way Hitler created a separate judicial system, outside the constitutional framework of the law, to deal with “political offenses.”
