In advance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, Thorin Tritter, HMTC’s Museum and Programming Director, discussed several images that are displayed in our museum about the displaced person (DP) camps that were established by the Allies after the war and which provided places for Holocaust Survivors to restart their lives. The DP camps offer a glimpse into the amazing resilience showed by Survivors in the wake of the war.
