Please join us for a very special Sundays with Survivors event via Zoom on Sunday, January 29th, at 11:00AM (EST), as we commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
In this program, Survivor Aron Krell will share the story about his family's forced resettlement along with the entire Jewish community into the Lodz ghetto, suffering four years of agonizing hunger and witnessing the death of his brother in the ghetto and surviving numerous concentration camps across Germany, Poland, and Austria, including Auschwitz-Birkenau. Aron states that Dante’s description of hell was paradise compared to what they had to endure on this journey and he considers his liberation in May 1945 to be his second birthday.
