OutdoorYogaHeader.png

HMTC presents an outdoor yoga class, taught by Helena Dluha. During the class, Helena will go though some basic yoga postures. Not too gentle, not too athletic, with just the right combination for everyone wishing to attend. Everyone should end up leaving the class feeling longer, looser, and more relaxed.

Yoga instructor Helena Dluha was born in the Czech Republic and has an MS in Physical Education from Charles University, located in Prague. She has worked in the United States as a fitness instructor since 1990 with people of all ages and abilities. Besides teaching yoga, she teaches water exercise classes, Pilates, body conditioning with weights and cardio classes. She also teaches seated classes for seniors and those who are injured. Additionally she teaches exercise classes for individuals dealing with Parkinson’s Disease.

There is a registration fee of $15 a person to participate in the class. Registration in advance is required. All participants must bring their own yoga mats and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

The class will take place on the lawn in back of HMTC’s building, located on Welwyn Preserve, 100 Crescent Beach Road, Glen Cove, NY.

HMTC needs your help now more than ever. Your donation will support HMTC’s virtual programming for students and adults. Help us continue to be able to provide Holocaust and Tolerance Education programs to schools and public programs for the community.
